LEGO-Mania

Back when I was a kid (not that many years ago) I loved playing with LEGO. It was my single favorite toy and I played with it through my entire childhood. Sometimes my dad and I would play together, and with our joint skills we could create some pretty amazing things. On this page you can see photos of some of the best things we've made. I think the photos at the top are the older projects and the ones at the bottom the newest, but I don't quite remember.

Star Miracle I, take 1

View image:
Star Miracle I, take 1 This, our first major projects, was a big space ship we made. We called it "Star Miracle I" hehe... The little unmanned rover next to it we called "Ground Hustler" and it turned out to follow us through the rest of our projects. In fact I still have it today... Ground Hustler could be carried inside Star Miracle I in some little room in the back not visible in this photo.

Big Climber, take 1

View image:
Big Climber, take 1 Big Climber was probably our second big project. Big Climber was a pretty heavy thing. The wheels would adjust to the uneven ground below and the back wheels could turn.

Big Climber, take 2

Big Climber, take 2 Big Climber had heavy artillery. In this photo one of the LD missiles have been launched but also notice the several smaller missiles at the left and right wings as well as the doubble laser cannon located in the middle which has just been unfolded.

Big Climber, take 3

Big Climber, take 3 Oops, seems like the motor broke down. A repair is needed!

Big Climber, take 4

View image:
Big Climber, take 4 Turned out the motor was just malfunctioning because of overheating, so now Big Climber needs to be cooled down. Meanwhile one of the crew use the mini-jet to search the area for a suitable location for the new service station to be build, and Ground Hustler and a manned scooter examines the nearby terrain.

Service Station LX-542, take 1

View image:
Service Station LX-542, take 1 The new service station has now been build. Currently an inter-planetary rocket is on the main platform and an approaching Hex-Wing Jet can be seen in the background to the left. Also notice Ground Hustler parked in the middle of the photo.

Multi-Blaster 5000, take 1 With build in plasma gun, laser gun, phaser, ultra-sound emitter, and electro-magnetic impulser, Multi-Blaster 5000 is the only hand weapon you'll ever need!

Multi-Blaster 5000, take 2 Oh yeah...!

(I have photos of this one from several different angles, but as they're not quite as interesting I'll only put them up here by request.)

Technic T-rex

View image:
Technic T-rex I played even more with Technic LEGO than with Space LEGO, but even though my technic creations often was quite advanced technically, they seldomly looked very impressive, so I didn't so often take pictures of them. Here's one though. Body, neck and mouth could all move using controls not seen in this picture.
